Hi,

I am married to a Thai with a 4 year old daughter. We have all the certificates for our child and our marriage documents. I may have to come off my NON - B if I cannot get my work permit before November 1st. I have a few questions-

(1) If forced to leave the country what documents may be required coming off the NON-B as the work permit was not processed in time? ( termination letter from school?)

(2) Can I go straight onto the NON - O based upon marriage, or do I have to go back on a tourist?

(3) If I can go straight onto the NON - O, is Savannakhet still doing the multiple entry W/O having to show funds in the bank?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

1. If you are on a 90 day entry from a non-b visa you will not need to do anything. If on an extension of stay based upon teaching issued by immigration you would need a termination letter.

2. No need for a tourist visa first.

3. You can get a multiple entry non-o visa based upon marriage in Savannakhet. No financial proof is needed.

You need you marriage certificate plus a copy, copies of you wife's house book registry and ID card signed by her.

Small question someone mentioned a letter in thai from my wife?? What details would need to be in this letter?

That is not required in Savannakhet.
