I sometimes get a message that it is down for 10 minutes due to maintenance, but a quick refresh and It is back. I think two or three weeks ago, it was down for two days It can't have been down as there are always a number of seeders and leechers. Actually the original site was taken down I believe years ago and then there were several new sites with the name and every so often one will go down but another may still be operating. Which is why find Torrentz2 helpful as they have real time listings from all sites that are currently active - so if your favorite site is down easy to find an alternative.

Be careful when visiting the alternative sites as these sites are sometimes loaded with mining scripts especially when you are searching them form within the software itself. A click on the wrong button can send malware in your system which also questions is utorrent safe? The best is to torrent via any good premium vpn service

Use a Browser that blocks cryptocurrency mining if you enable it(Opera) or use the NoCoin add-on with other Browsers.

I use a seedbox but not because im worried about being sued - I think the chances of that in our location are minimal. I never liked constantly uploading on my connection with Utorrent and I can maintain good ratios much more easily with a seedbox. I’ve had a couple of copyright notices but as long as the file in question is removed in 24 hours, it’s not a problem. The seedbox also comes with VPN software, which is handy.
