LOEI — Environmental and Civil Rights activist Lertsak Kamkongsak has been elected leader of Commoner Party.

 

Almost 300 members of the new party from throughout the kingdom converged on Loei province for its first meeting, one of many since the junta partially eased its ban on civilian politics in the run-up to a possible February election.

Of course they don't as the junta liberally sprays Article-44 brand glyphosate on any tender shoot of democracy that may pop out of the fertile grounds of liberty.
Liberty unrestrained and democracy unchecked lead to "probable disorder."

Not many but they have plenty of submarines. There will be plenty of parties that stand no chance that will pop up. And if by chance they have that rare charismatic leader that does give them a chance they will be censured or marched to the jail house as quickly as possible.
