Has this lawyer supplied any registration number so we can check at the provincial court if he is in fact a real lawyer?  First question I'd ask if I needed a lawyer.

It is directed at Thai men, so perhaps they DO need to be told, especially those who feel entitled to do whatever they want in line with Thai culture.

Usually average or mediocre  lawyers will only give you comparisons if you pay for it.

Unless you need a marriage extension to work or because you have a  small pension, no need to marry in Thailand. A lot of Thai live together with just the Village Wedding and no official registration. I cannot list any benefit as most of the time ( sure there are exception )  the man is the one that bring the money in the couple. 

 

But if you are a lady foreigner , it is different as you do not need to prove anything to have your extension and can even have work permit. The Thai husband officially support you.

I wonder how much TV pays this guy for his advisory
