Passport lost

Featured Replies

Any suggestions to locate my lost passport, between Pattaya and Surin, on September 25.

Last time recalled being seen was at Katesiree (as ID to take delivery of hire car).

Thought about a reward offer on radio ...

Have reported loss to Police

Thanks

If you do find it, it will be in the last place you look.

Walk between Pattaya and Surin and have a look around.

get new photos

go to embassy and get a new one.

Inform embassy ASAP to get passport invalidated/revoked.

I am not sure whether Thai police will do anything automatically?

After having new passport you have to go to immigration of course.

(although you didn't say what your status is, being on one year extension?).

Katesiree at Soi Buakhao? Whom exactly did you show/hand over the passport?

And of course you have contacted the location/asked the person whether you had forgotten it there?

You hopefully have photocopies?

Im sure he'll receive any number of responses from those promising to post the passport  to him following receipt of the reward.

Offer 4,000 baht reward to Hire Company!

Subtlety or sarcasm tends to fly over the heads of some of the Thai Visa brotherhood.

Did you leave it at the hire company for collateral?

The car hire company or in the car. Turn in inside out.

I always knew that the loss of a passport carries with it not very pleasant consequences, I thought that this would not happen to me, but just recently I lost it all the same. The recovery process took me a week.

No shit, Sherlock !

Loss of a passport is a very unpleasant thing, unfortunately our law does not allow it to be easily restored and therefore many procedures will have to be completed before restoring it.
