Only if you lived in the Netherlands for 50 yrs, for every year from your 15th till your 65 you get 2%. If you lived less longer there it's costs you 2% per year. I know dutch persons that came here when they were 25 and never left, then it's not so much you get.

Although I read about the 2% rule before there is still a minimum you receive that's comparable to social wellfare, however, if you don't apply for it you get nothing so who knows how long he lived in Thailand.

    Reminds me of the story of the guy who was £5 short for his ticket at the airport. One guy he approached and asked 'can you give me £5 so I can fly back home to my country?' gave him £15 and said
