webfact Posted October 15, 2018 Share Posted October 15, 2018 EC opens registration for organizations to nominate senators BANGKOK, 15 October 2018, (NNT) - Following cabinet approval of the draft act on the selection of senators, the Election Commission (EC) has opened registration for eligible organizations to nominate candidates for members of the upper house. A small number of agencies have made their way to the EC headquarters at Ratthaprasasanabhakti Building of the Government Complex on Chaengwattana Road, in Bangkok. The office noted that a number of organizations have sent their representatives to pick up registration forms and had their qualifications checked in advance. Similarly, in Yala province, the provincial EC office has prepared registration forms and other documents for eligible organizations to register their names for future nomination of Senate candidates. Military associations will help the cause, naturally. Goes without saying. Been the overwhelmingly dominate factor throughout the legislative branch forever - regardless of said standing government.
