Actually having a firearm is NOT a basic human right. In most western countries you have to have a damn good reason to carry a gun. You need a permit and extensive training before being allowed to carry one, and should you ever try to pull a stupid stunt like this idiot did, you would be disarmed, forcibly if necessary. The weapon would be taken away from you, you would be taken to court, fined heavily and jailed.

 

PS Billions of people around the world never have the need for a personal weapon, so why was this idiot allowed to carry one?

"Why shouldn't he?" (Walk free) - How was his life threatened? He brought the whole incident on himself by acting unhinged. He most certainly is not fit to drive a car let alone carry a gun. 

"Having a firearm to protect one's life is a basic human right." - No it is not. Being able to go about your normal daily business without worrying that the next clown you meet may want to hurt you with a gun is though. Guns are only good at ending lives they rarely save lives.

A society that thinks it is OK to pull out a gun and threaten someone for driving slow (assuming that is all it was about) is in need of a big shake up. Would it be OK to pull a gun out in Tesco if the cashier was too slow?

Do you point a gun at a slow waitress in a restaurant? 

Thinking like this is how you end up with the carnage that goes on in the USA. How a great country like that has come to not care about mass shootings in schools and other places is incredible.
