Free to fall: No extra safety precautions for rock climbers despite American tourist’s death

PHUKET: Officials at the Hat Noppharat Thara - Mu Koh Phi Phi National Park, the Krabi Tourist Police and even the Ao Nang Tambon Administration Organisation (OrBorTor) all will do nothing to help prevent another rock climbing accident at Railay Beach, famed for its sheer rock faces that visiting tourists scale while on holiday in the area.

2018's unemployment not at alarming level: DOE

BANGKOK, 26 October 2018 (NNT) - The unemployment situation in 2018 is not at an alarming level while the biggest group of unemployed persons are aged between 20-24 years, said acting Department of Employment Petcharat Sinauy Director-General said the overall unemployment situation from May is showing a sign of decline from 2016 and 2017, especially in September 2018, where the number of the unemployed is only about 373,000, showing that the situation is not at an alarming rate.

Two killed, nine injured as van collides with wild elephant in Chachoengsao

'Fortnite' creator Epic Games raises $1.25 billion from KKR, others

(Reuters) - Epic Games, the creator of video game sensation "Fortnite", said on Friday it received $1.25 billion in funding from investors, including KKR & Co Inc, Iconiq Capital and Smash Ventures.
