Try to get to a cool location, preferably one with air conditioning.

Drink water or electrolyte-filled sports drinks.

Take a cool bath or shower to help speed up your recovery.

Place ice bags under your arms and around your groin area.

You need to explain what type of hyperthermia, caused by what.

If you mean "heat stroke", treatment is as described in post 5.

Yes, that's my question for you.  Hyperthermia can have many causes, and if someone is going to help, they need to know if it's due to heat exhaustion, medication, or a medical condition; is this a chronic problem or did you observe it only for the first time; are you asking because you're experiencing symptoms right now or wanting to know for future reference; do you just want to know because you're going hiking next April and are wondering what to do if you or one of your companions start not feeling well; etc.

OP seems to be talking about using microwave to increase body temp to kill cancer cells from the link provided.  ????

Exactly right. Just inquiring if this is available in LOS. Have any members had cause to undergo this treatment, results from it, and/or any recommendations
