Google every pill a doctor prescribes, or a pharmacy recommends. You'd be surprised what they are for, or not for. And the side effects. If you've got flu or a cold, stay off work, plenty of fluids, rest a lot and in 7 days it'll be gone. Alternatively, go to work as usual, plenty of fluids and in 7 days it'll be gone.

I can't really recommend relying on Doctor Google.  The Internet is even more full of crap that some doctors are.  Thanks to the Internet, it is now possible to be extremely well informed and totally wrong at the same time.

OK accepted. But for pills etc if three or four sites give you the same answers, you should deduce that they are correct.

Commonsense at last - antibiotics are grossly over-prescribed in Thailand according to a local pharmacist where I live. Evidently when many Thais "feel sick" they want an antibiotic.
