Ulic
I have to say, a short, intense, say, 2-month campaigning period would be much more civilized.

Hopefully we will see the same ratios when the election finally happens and get rid of the Junta, despite their blatant electioneering, while forbidding their opposition from being able to do so. cyberfarang
Last night on the Thai television news it showed, Suthep Thaugsuban, leader of the yellow shirts marching with his henchmen down a street. And I thought, here we go again, more trouble afoot. Before the last coup Thailand was on the verge of a civil war and if another election is on the political agenda soon with the same mobs as before, then be prepared for another big showdown. This is why I cannot see how the present junta can step down and I am hoping and praying they won`t for reasons I have mentioned above.
