Police hunt couple accused of having sex in Bangkok taxi and sharing footage online

Metropolitan police are searching for a Thai couple who allegedly filmed themselves having sex in the back of a taxi and posted the footage online.

 

Details of the incident was shared on the Taxi Report TH Facebook page, along with images that were reportedly screenshots from the video.

 

The images show a woman that appears to be wearing a black skirt with a white shirt that has been opened to reveal her underwear. Another image shows the woman with one of her breasts exposed.

 

According to the taxi driver, a man and woman got in his taxi at 10am on Monday morning at Bangkok Metropolitan Administration General Hospital.

 

The taxi driver said he didn’t notice anything unusual going on in the back go his taxi and only realised something was awry when he was hauled in front of officials from the Department of Land Transport (DLT) who had been contacted by police after footage of the couple went viral on social media.

 

In September, Thai police were searching for a couple who were photographed having sex in a famous supermarket.

 

The photos were shared on Facebook and went viral

 

Shoppers could be seen in the background on some of the photos.

Is it just me - or do you find it weird this police obsession with catching people engaged in sex.  Orgies, taxi sex, flashing.  These are headline crimes.  Meanwhile murders, rapes, thefts, insane driving etc.. these seem to go under the radar for the most part.  All this in a country with industrial level red light zones.  Strange?
