Two arrested with 900,000 meth pills and 3kg of 'ice' in Chiang Rai

Two suspected drug smugglers were arrested at a Chiang Rai hotel following a brief gunfight with police after which 900,000 methamphetamine pills and three kilograms of crystal meth were seized.

Train kills man using shortcut at Makkasan station

LONDON (Reuters) - More than 70 business figures are calling for a public vote on the final terms of Britain's exit from the European Union, warning that the country faces "either a blindfold or a destructive hard Brexit", the Sunday Times reported.

Thailand cave rescuers were sure most of the kids would die

They didn’t tell the press this, or the desperate, waiting parents — but the international team of divers who rescued 12 boys and their soccer coach from a submerged cave in Thailand last summer had assumed, going in, that most of the kids would die.
