Thai girl, 11, wins world drone racing competition

 

SHENZHEN: Wanraya Wannapong, an 11-year-old girl from Thailand, clinched the women's title at the World Drone Racing Championships on Sunday (Nov 4) in China's Shenzhen.

 

The Thai drone-master saw off the other 12 women to become the youngest winner in the category, according to the Bangkok Post.

 

“I loved this track a lot. I liked flying it at night, it was a lot of fun," she said.

More such things should take place in Thailand.  

 

Besides winning races, she can aid in search and rescue, evaluate crops, help put out fires.  Wish her the best of luck.

Wow can she fly!!!i would love to see her fly one of my 1/4 scale sailplanes I’ll bet she would Injoy it good job you go girl!!!

That was incredible. Her composure and skills were inspiring.

 

Having flown FPV racing drones, they take a lot of skill.

 

Congratulations Milk, you should be so proud of your achievements.
