PM opens Green Army, Green Farmer project

 

 

KANCHANABURI, 8th November 2018 (NNT) – The Prime Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, opened the Green Army, Green Farmer project at the 17th Military Circle in Kanchanaburi province on Wednesday. 

The project is a cooperative project on agriculture and food safety, and uses areas in the military compound as a production base. 

This is in response to the government's policy to promote large-scale farming as well as organic and sustainable agriculture. The project also aims to empower local communities, strengthen the grassroots economy, and spread revenue in a secure, prosperous, and sustainable manner. 

During the opening ceremony, Gen. Prayut spoke to the project's participants who gave him a warm reception.

Considering this man was a General in the army, he does like some bling on his pinkies. In the West, i think most other army/navy/air force Chief of Staff members would think this a bit gay.......
