Southbound roads still passable despite floods in Prachuap Khiri Khan

By The Nation

Vehicles can still travel to and from the South although the Phetkasem Road in Prachuap Khiri Khan is still partially under water, Prachuap Khiri Khan highway police said.

Following heavy rains on Friday, some parts of the Phetkasem Road in Prachuap Khiri Khan's Bang Saphan district were flooded.

At 8.30am Saturday, Prachuap Khiri Khan highway police announced that traffic was still movable to and from the South.

The office said traffic slowed a bit at the Wang Yao Brige in Bang Saphan district as the bridge shoulder subsided, prompting the south-board road to be closed. A lane of the Bangkok-bound was allocated for the south-bond traffic at the spot.
