Do you know this woman? The Thai tech police want to lock her up for five years!

Thailand's technology cops are appealing for information after a picture of a naked woman was posted online on a Chonburi bridge.

Spokesman Pol Col Siriwat Deephor said she could be locked up for 5 years and fined 100,000 baht.

While anyone who shares the picture also faces the same penalty.

TNA contacted the spokesman after the picture was spread on the internet on Monday.

Siriwat said that Lt Col Issarapong Tipaphakun had been on the case and discovered that the page had been shut down.

It was now harder to locate the person responsible - but not impossible.

"Someone must know who she is," said the cop who urged anyone who recognized her to contact the tech police who monitor such matters.

He could not confirm or deny online rumors that the curvaceous woman was a so called "Net Idol".

Article 14 (4) allows for 5 years jail and a 100,000 baht fine for posting such pictures while 14 (5) relates to sharing of such images and carries the same penalties.

With all the yellow hands and pixels, even her own mother wouldn't recognise her!

Some people do anything to catch attention.

Wish I did.

Well, she's of a sturdy build, perhaps more comfort than speed, nice long hair and legs that could kick start a 747.

Somebody must have enjoyed that photo opportunity on a brand new road.

You have to love the stupidity of it all. A photo seen by just a few becomes viral because the cops, trying to suppress such indignity, publicise it and it gets viewed by millions. And by publishing the photo, while asking for help, they become guilty of the same crime they accuse her and others of, sharing obscenity.

Well  Colonel Sirawat that is definitely a MASSIVE own goal...... The term plonker seems to fit.

If you are trying to tell us that the cops are criminals DSD, that is hardly a news flash.

I am going to have a few words with my daughter when she gets home mind.

Ridiculous thing for the police to get involved in.

I have to assume there are a lot of extremely conservative civilians who will be pleased with them going after this. Otherwise, why bother?

I wonder if the tech police have any job vacancies?

People might recognize her if they didn't pixelate her penis.

Got my attention.

By releasing her picture and courting additional publicity, the 'Thai Tech Police' are riding on her back for their own self promotion.

Looks like a race to the bottom to me, seeing who can go down the lowest, and suck on the teat of self-publicity and, and ..... sorry, I've run dry .....

A 'big hand' for the lady!

I thought i had her figured out when I looked at her left leg but can't be sure since her right leg seems a bit off.

looks like a calendar photo shoot

I will check in Crazy House tonight if I find a match. But I need to put some strategic Vaseline spots on my glasses first so that I don't get distracted.

5 years for posting a naked photo, and a reasonably artful one at that?

Totally off the rails....  but then we already knew that....

is the a criminal act???? no!!! I don't think so!!!

5 years jail Gosh several Thai murderers have received lighter sentences then that..

What is exactly her crime? Why we can not resend her photo?

Hours spent in this farce are better spent on the daily traffic mayhem.

the "ethics" brigade that wants to lock this girl up 5 years for posting a nude photo should lock themselves up for life-without-parole for turning  blind eye to the blatant prostitution for decades!

Don't get me started!
