We are coming to Thailand in January next year, we have enrolled in a language course and have our visa in our passport.

Does the visa start from the day it is issued or from the day that you arrive in Thailand?

Assuming you have a single entry non-immigrant ‘ED’ visa it will be valid for 3 months from the date it’s issued, and you can enter Thailand on or before the ‘enter before’ date printed on the visa.

Whenever you make your entry to the country you’ll be given permission to stay for 90 days.
