Hi guys,

do you have any experience of the following that a friend of mine is experiencing? He has applied for an extension of stay based on marriage. He was given the usual under consideration-stamp for a month, date mentioned was 15th nov. (yesterday)..

Today, one day late the immigration office has not yet contacted him, today later on he went there and asked. And he told me that they seemed more to be irritated that he showed up there and asking......

So what can he expect. Shall he just sit calm in the boat and wait, or should he do.... what?

Thanks for your input...

Just wait is about all he can do. Not all offices will contact a person if the approval has been done by the division headquarters. They expect you to check with them on the report back date.

If not ready on the report back date they normally contact headquarters to find out why it was not done yet.

He is allowed to stay until it is approved.
