Thai immigration police have arrested a Malaysian fugitive who is wanted on an alleged Bt17-million fraud charge, Immigration Bureau acting chief Pol Maj-General Surachate Hakpal said on Tuesday.

Surachate handed over Lee Chong Giap, 60, to Yusni Mohammad Jamil, a police attache to the Malaysian Embassy, at a press conference at the Immigration Bureau.

Yusni thanked Thai police for arresting and handing over the suspect.

Surachate said the suspect was wanted on a Malaysian court arrest warrant for alleged real estate fraud worth Bt17 million in August last year.

Lee entered Thailand most recently on October 20 via the Sadao checkpoint in Songkhla and was granted an entry visa to stay until November 18, said Surachate.

Why is there a picture of big joke just staring into thin air while standing on one foot?

Must be 'something in the air tonight' to make him hopping mad.
