Social Development Ministry kicks off campaign against domestic violence

Chiang Mai might be listed as world heritage site next year

‘Ghost students’ mystery probed in Northeast

More than 30 motorists since last week have been injured in an accident on part of the Thepkrasattri Road which is under construction in Thalang. Phuket officials are well aware of the issue and have moved swiftly to solve the problem.

The pick-up truck owner whose vehicle made headlines after she blocked the entrance gate to the Bangkok home of two elderly sisters last February prompting an axe-and-shovel attack on the truck, has been sentenced to 15 days in prison and a Bt5,000 fine.

DUBAI (Reuters) - The United Arab Emirates on Monday pardoned a British academic jailed for life on spying charges, granting his family's request for clemency minutes after showing a video of him purportedly confessing to being a member of Britain's intelligence agency MI6.

Bernardo Bertolucci, the multi-award-winning Italian director of Last Tango in Paris, The Last Emperor and The Dreamers, has died at the age of 77 after a spell with cancer, his publicist confirmed.
