Good for you. Still doesn't make it right. I'm sure you're a big boy now and know there are consequences for your actions. How you choose to weigh up those consequences compared to your actions is your business. 

look at it this way,in a certain country south of the usa if she had done this to a cartel member,she /he would have been hanging from a bridge with no head,so okay she ended up with 40,000 better than a chainsaw to the neck.
