John Hubers investigation testimony coming up.  Should be interesting.

I wouldn't get your hopes up about the Huber testimony. Already, your fellow right wingers are complaining about it.

I'm betting that pretty soon we'll be hearing from certain parties that the fix is in, the Huber was really a mole for the Clintons, and other such nonsense.

I don't understand your question. This is in reference to what in particular?

Trump's call for a full sentence for Cohen is definitely an anomaly:

Trump is punishing white-collar crime at the lowest rate since Nixon

Antitrust enforcement in the United States has dropped to its lowest rate since Nixon's presidency.

This highlights a growing trend in the current administration: Trump and his team strike military postures when dealing with immigrants, the poor, or people of color.

On the other hand, Trump and his team are passive when dealing with businesses that swindle consumers, defraud veterans, exploit workers, or cheat investors.

I expect not nearly as much stress as for the not so innocent. ????

No mention of Russian collusion, absolutely no evidence that collusion between Trump and Russian players caused Hillary to lose her election. This is insane. Time to get straight-jackets on Mueller and all his team(and Strzok and Page and Comey and that woman beating lawyer that was always on CNN) and cart them all of to Guantanamo. This whole "show me the man and I'll find you a crime" farce is an unprecedented assault on democracy and needs to end now.

Once again, credit to Trump for maintaining his dignity amidst this prolonged personal attack on him.

Lock him up , Lock him up - the mafia Don that is......always somebody else's fault never him.

Thanks for the info!  Not surprised...of course!

Sure, Donald.  A full sentence for Cohen who has the Feds all over him because he chose to get involved in your shenanigans, but let's not "drain the swamp" of folks like Bayer and Monsanto merging to form God-knows-what.

This part caught my eye:

"The Senate minority's report on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau describes colossal backpedaling in the past two years."

"This has included the dissolution of the office that oversaw the student loan market, a decision to stop proactively reviewing potential violations of the law protecting members of the military service from financial fraud and predatory loans, and the stripping of powers from the office responsible for enforcing fair lending laws."

So much for supporting the men and women in uniform. The military has many barely adult young people with little financial experience, many starting families, and many going through the stress of prolonged separation from loved ones.  Why go out of the way to protect them from con artists and predatory lenders?

Because they are owned by Republicans and predatory is the GOP's last name, Grand Old Predators
