RuamRudy Posted May 16, 2019 Share Posted May 16, 2019 I was reading about the recording of Carly Simon's You're So Vain a few weeks ago - an interesting little story where Mick Jagger just happened to be in the same London studio as her when she recorded it, and that is why he ended up singing on the record. She said that she was annoyed with him being there at the time because she was feeling lazy but the quality of his singing was so much higher than hers, and he kept pushing for her to dig deeper.
