Pretty much every post! This isn't personal, the poor feedback you are having from many, is that you started a whole thread with such authority. You could have made this same op in one of the many threads currently running on this topic.

Your op eludes to definitive advice, yet no specifics about the role of the person you were able to contact in au embassy. On top of that you have been increasingly argumentative. Added to that some very poor wording. No wonder your receiving some flack. Best course of action for members using "income letter" from your embassy would be that if your date of renewal is within the six month period from obtaining such then good. For those who renew extension later next year then perhaps there are couple of options. Use bank 800/400 method if you have the means. Use an agent if comfortable with that. Personally I don't think moving to another country is that much of an option. Especially for those that have attachments here. Let's see how it all pans out in next few months and avoid "press release" from various members, including this thread.

Every time someone critises me, I ask them what is the basis for their critism, not one response. Now I'm being told that my op differs to what was posted on the web. In my op I said that the embassy official, not bar talk or a mate of mine as somebody has made up, told me that they are going to stop verifying income on stat decs. On the website the embassy said that they are going to stop issuing stat decs about income. Well well, Lo and behold, almost identical statements. And for the bloke that recons that only my druken Ozzie mates lie on stat decs, wake up.

You say your mate said they will stop verifying income on stat decs.. HOW IS THAT possible when they were never verified in the first place!

It does however seem there is a plethora well 6 pages based on a passing conversation on the way to the bar and NOTHING has changed for anyone, as no embassy ( i would dare to include the Australian one) is going to take time and resources to verify stuff before certifying it which is seemingly what immigration wants..... although they probably dont know  what they want either.

So are they witnessing signatures or verifying income? Witnessing a signature is NOT Verifying an income. Your a troll or intensely s****d

Until such time as Immigration announce their intentions with regards to accepting income as a requirement for an extension of stay and what format they require it in everything else is speculation despite what the Embassies say.
