In my local hospital, a baby boy was born without eyelids. The concerned parents met with the top surgeon to discuss the problem.

 

''What can be done doctor?''

 

''It's serious, but I think we could fix the problem; if you agree.'' 

 

''Really! That's good news doc'. How will you do it?''

 

''We will perform a circumcision on the little lad, and the removed skin will be enough to stitch onto the eyes to make lids.''

 

''That's great. Will there be any drawbacks?''

 

''Only one. The boy will be forever 'cockeyed.''
