It started with Gordon Brown idiotically selling off most of the UK's gold at rock bottom prices, the it has been one incompetent greedy, lying buffoon after another. It's amazing the the UK pound is still even worth anything.

But it was Gordon Brown who kept us out of the Euro.

another mistake he made,perhaps your not aware but the UK would of entered the Euro at an exchange rate of €1.55-€1.60 its currently €1.14 and has been lower,that would today give a brit 56-57 baht for his former pound,instead of 40.30,thats just one benefit imagine all the imported goods over the years being 30-40% cheaper.wasnt such a good idea after all was it,brown must of cost the country 1000s of billions
