sandeepparab Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Hello, I am an Indian Origin age 31 years. Yesterday I got work permit which is initially valid till april end. My company will extend the same for one year. The extension process will take few weeks. Meanwhile I would like to apply Non-Immigrant O (dependent VISA) for my wife. To process her document I need to submit photo copy of my work permit and VISA. I just want to know whether I should process her VISA right now or should i wait for my Work Permit extension and then process? Can my wife VISA be further exteneded depending on my work permit extension? Also Dependent VISA is single entry or multiple entry VISA? Please help. Thanking you sandeep

Thanking you sandeep You apply for her extension as being a dependent at the same time as you apply for the extension of stay based on business. When she gets the extension of stay and would like to leave Thailand. She needs to obtain either a single or multi entry permit at that time. When ever you apply for the extension, you will do the same for her. www.sunbeltasiagroup.com
sandeepparab Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 Thanks for the information. I will go ahead and process her papers. Where do we to change the single entry status to multiple entry? Is it Thai Embassy? Does Thai Embassy has any counter at airport? Sandeep parab
Sunbelt Asia Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Where do we to change the single entry status to multiple entry? Is it Thai Embassy? If you are talking about after she gets the extension of stay. The reentry permit counter in Bangkok is at Soi Suan Phlu or at the Airport. Does Thai Embassy has any counter at airport? Thai Immigration has a counter called " Reentry Permit" www.sunbeltasiagroup.com
