train journey

Featured Replies

Some months ago there was a train departing Saturday (and I think Sundays) from bkk to Sattahip, stopping off at Pattaya station, has it now been cancelled or is it still in operation??

The ordinary train is still listed in the official schedule (last updated in November):

Several years ago I commuted from Hualampong out to Pattanagan on this train.  Only 3rd class seats were available.

I believe the Saturday/Sunday aircon tourist train still runs...well I saw it go past a couple of weeks ago @ about 9.30 am near the Wat Yarn station.

ok but it is no where near PATTAYA STATION !!
Its on the same track ....the only track (single) that runs to and from Pattaya-Rayong/southerly...I believe that from Pattaya to Bangkok there are now dual tracks.
