Hi Folks and Happy New Year>

Can anyone help me and someone has asked me and if anyone can help please do so.
His extension of stay based on retirement matures say 5th February (a Tuesday) and think Kanchanaburi Immigration can provide paper work a month in advance.
The local bank manager is only available this Friday the 4th January and away for some time after that.
He has deposited some monies in to the account today 2nd January and in your experiences does the letter have to be the same date as the bank passbook and hearing that  a bank balance is valid for 7 days
Thank you for genuine advise.

Most offices will accept the application up to 30 days early and others 45 days.

The 7 days for the letter is not a fixed number. Some want it to be no older than the day before and others 3 days.

Some offices do want the bank book updated on the day the application is done.

I do not know what Kanchanaburi immigration requirements are.

The letter and bank book update needs to be dated the same day. I suggest your friend updates his passbook again once the letter is issued from the bank and goes straight to immigration to apply for the extension. Extensions don't take long at that office especially if you apply later in the day.

Thank you indeed and yes this friend going to the bank for this letter and probably will deposit a little on the day and yes he is only available on that day as he will be away for a long while and yes they are very very helpful there and if he is slightly over the 30 day, if that is the case, I am sure it will not matter and in any case no monies can be taken out on the w/e and he has no debit card on this account.

Thank you indeed and yes likely he will deposit a little more on Friday 4th and the Manager away for a long time after that. And it will not make much difference if slightly over the 30 days (not sure requirement) but in any case he can not draw any monies on w/e and has no card for this particular bank.
He is taking his thai wife so I am sure they will be ok even if a couple of days early
