snoop1130 Posted January 2, 2019 Share Posted January 2, 2019 Whale carcass found on Nakhon Si Thammarat beach By The Nation The dead whale, believed to be a bruda, the biggest species in the Gulf of Thailand, was found on the beach near the Laem Talumphuk reserve, Amphoe Pak Phanang, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The dead animal was spotted this morning by villagers who noticed the strong smell. The whale measures over 10 metres and weighs about 2 tonnes. Officials believe the whale died at sea about two to three weeks before being washed ashore by strong waves.
