Rimmer Posted January 4, 2019 Share Posted January 4, 2019 Royal Thai Fleet marks 95 years SATTAHIP:--The Royal Thai Fleet marked its 95th anniversary at a ceremony in Sattahip. RTF commander Adm. Noppadol Supakorn opened the Dec. 19 worship ceremony at the Prince Chumphon shrine. A 19-gun salute was sounded before sailors joined to sing navy songs at the Sattahip Naval Base. A Buddhist merit-making ceremony later was performed at fleet headquarters, honoring all those that died in service of their country. Former navy commander-in-chief Adm. Naris Pratumsuwan congratulated Noppadol on the occasion.
