Oxx
The US FDA has recalled Valsartan, a common drug for treating high blood pressure. Since the cause of the contamination of the drug has not been made public*, it's not clear whether the versions of the drug available in Thailand are affected or not. https://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm629213.htm * More specifically, was the contamination caused by Aurobindo's manufacturing, or did they buy in the drug or its precursors from elsewhere? If the latter, it's distinctly possible that other brands are affected.

The previous recall was back in July. This is a new recall and affects a different manufacturer.
Sheryl
Yes, appears to be a new recall. Specific to one company. Unlike prior recall this one is voluntarty not FDA required.
