What is the Bird Box challenge and why has Netflix warned against it?

A new craze inspired by Netflix film Bird Box has swept the globe as fans attempt to create memes of it.

 

People all over the world have been taking on the Bird Box challenge as the film continues to break viewing records.

 

But as its popularity grows so does the amount of people taking on the challenge, which the streaming service has branded dangerous.

 

It has led to Netflix urging fans not to take on the challenge, telling them not to "end up in hospital due to memes".

should be Bird brain, not Bird Box.
