The Muang Phitsanulok police station was alerted of the accident on the Ban Jomthong-Ban Pakthok road in Moo 3 village in Tambon Jomthong at 12.05am. Panit Parnsombat, 30, was the engineer for the Kwae Noi Bamrung Daen irrigation project of the 3rd Phitsanulok Royal Irrigation Office. His pickup flipped and hit a tree in a curve of the road, hurling his body through the windshield. He was then crushed by his own pickup.
