Non-Immigrant Visa "O" Multi Entry 1 year (marriage) - HCMC or Phnom Penh

Featured Replies

I require a Non-Immigrant Visa "O" Multi Entry 1 year based on Marriage . I meet all requirements.

As I am currently in Thailand I would like somewhere local I can fly in and out to, not Laos.

Options I found in searches were Vietnam and Cambodia

HCMC (the link to the application form doesn't work?)

Phnom Penh

This topic has been discussed a number of times pointing to both the above options.

Does anyone have any update to date information on which option is still viable?

Only the consulate in HCMC will issue a multiple entry non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai. Be sure you have your wife write a short letter requesting you be issued the visa.

Phnom Phen will not issue one.

thanks @ubonjoeHCMC it is.

the website states 2 working days, the reports i read said the next day..

The 2 days are the day you apply and when you pick up your passport.

@Smacko, I did that run 2-3 years ago.

On the first day you submit your docs and on the second day you pickup your visa. I had a nice trip with my wife there and some beer lao's. The old city is not that bad to chill out for a day and a half.

any ideas where to have the docs certified in Pattaya?

Certified is your wife signing her house book (page one and the page she is shown on) and ID card copies.  And you sign your passport copy and marriage certificate copy.
