Ah..the usual as they never stop.   They are astonishingly shameless.

  • And since when is it necessary for election officials to have a Benz?  Oh, wait, never mind.  I forgot where I was for a moment.

What, an inactive one? Why do that when they each already have one.

The election commission are doing such a marvellous job they shouldn't;t be settling for Benzes, how about a free Rolls for everybody?

This is the worst committee I have ever seen in my life. Useless.

I doubt they know the difference between a Benz and a Roller.

the purchase, is necessary because the current vehicles used by the commissioners are aged and prone to breaking down.

Just like the commissioners, then. Pity they aren't so easily replaceable.

The commissioners are in a similar state, can they be replaced by updated models too?

Preferably by ones who look good in a bikini.

Becoming more and more like the West every day it is.

The West? The electorate in the West generally have a better idea of what they expect, and what they get.

Interesting contrast with the British Prime Minister Clement Attlee who often took the tube from Central London to his home in Stanmore. There was a lengthy walk from the tube station to his house. When it was suggested he should arrange an official car for at least this last part of the journey, he refused. He thought it would be an irresponsible use of public funds and a betrayal of the British taxpayer.

Different times.
