Video: Stolen from under police noses - motorcycle thieves at work

Sanook reported that a student's motorcycle was stolen just outside a police booth in Pathum Thani.

Naphatsorn Thiansanit - a first year uni student in Thanyaburi - thought it would be safe to leave his Honda Wave outside his block of flats by the police booth in Soi Pornphisan 3.

But when he came down to buy some food in the night his bike was gone.

CCTV showed two helmeted thieves arrive on another bike. One smashed the lock with his foot while his accomplice used his foot on the back pedal to push him away from the scene.

Klong 5 cops are investigating.

Exactly my thoughts. At least no cop was injured on the way out of the police station.

I see motorcycle riders go past on the pavement of the police booth near me. Never once seen a police officer get out and do anything.

Ballsy move. Apparently those cheap handle locks ain't worth much.

at least they were both wearing helmets.

Why should the brown idiots - assuming the were really in their booth - do anything to stop the motorcycle thieves? There is no monetary reward for them to do anything.

No license but a helmet.

That is wrong thinking

That place would be the least safe place

Just because you have a police booth that not mean any police officer in there

Here in jomtien we have 3 booths but evening only one officer in side looking his mobile

Of course. In this case, the purpose of the helmets is to hide their identity.
