There is something so brilliant, so uniquely satisfying about watching a new TV show, thinking you understand it and that it all makes sense, and then having your new world rocked by just one line.

Not only does this one line make everything you had sort of wondered about before click perfectly into place, but it also turns the show completely on its head, leaving you utterly hooked and ready to convince the entire office that THIS is the show they've been waiting their whole lives to watch.

Here are just a few of the amazing shows that changed their entire game with just one EXCELLENT line.

Be warned – spoilers ahead...

How can they be SPOILERS when the shows have already been shown? And only some div on digitalspy has called them amazing shows and EXCELLENT lines.

Never watched a single episode of any of the shows except Dr. Who. I really don't see how that line changed the entire show. Complete nonsense.

but not everyone has watched them so it's still a spoiler... if you only started watching Homeland now, do you really want to know what happens to Brody from the start... it would take away all the suspense. Even more so with Wayward Pines.

In The Good Place, that one line changes the entire premise the show is based on.

And if you only just started watching Coronation Street now, you wouldn't want a spoiler telling you Minnie Caldwell's cat Bobby died.   555555
