I am based in Thailand, currently on a Non-Immigrant O visa. I have a WP.

I am planning to apply for a new Non O in London in March. For reasons I don't want to go into I don't want to apply for a 12 month extension in Thailand.  The page on the London consulate website states that you need to submit bank statements reporting a minimum income of £1,500 per month.

I meet this requirement in both my UK and Thai bank accounts. My UK statements are online only. Is it OK to submit statements printed from the online bank account? Or does London need original bank statements?

I can get a certified bank statement from Kasikorn Bank but does the London consulate want to see a UK income?

I assume you are applying for the non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai. The embassy does not normally require the 1500 pounds to issue the visa.

If asked it could be in any bank. Just a bank statement from a UK bank or a bank book from a Thai bank would be accepted.

You do not have to go to the UK to get a multiple entry non-o visa based upon marriage. There are nearby locations that will issue one with no financial proof.

Thanks but I will be in the UK in March so its convenient. Please see the link to the consulate page. It does ask for 3 months bank statements.

It has been shown on that page for years but was recently changed from 1400 to 1500 pounds. Many reports of it not being required when doing the application. If you ask they will say it is needed but if you submit it without the proof it will still be issued.
