You misunderstand the process. The agents work for the TI, who profit from it (and promote and encourage it too). You need to get rid of the corrupt TI officials. Good luck with that.

As far as I can determine, they just middle man the bribes while falsifying the paperwork. For signing off on the falsification the IO gets his cut. Are you suggesting the bribery goes into a central pool to be divided by the provincial office?

So what if Trump called? FIFA could have refused to take the call or it could have said no. You don't know what went on behind the scenes with Portugal. Ronaldo's offence was far more serious than Baloguns, and the only reason 1 game was served was because the appeal was late in being filed and there were 3 games that applied. It is hypocrisy to pick one event and not the other. The reality is that the Football federations are corrupt. This is a business, not a charity. FIFA will do whatever needs to be done to maximize profit. How quickly the allegations of bribery and payoffs that marred the selection of the last WC site have been forgotten. World Cup and Olympics are all about making money for private business interests, not sport.
