Oakley Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I'm coming to Thailand in a few weeks time and need some advice on whether i should apply to Hull consulate for a non im 'O' or 'B'. I'm planning to travel for a couple of months and then look for probably a teaching job. The 'O' only requires you to fill in a self certification form. Will i be able to get a work permit if i have an 'O' and is it acceptable to employers? For the 'B' i need a job offer which i don't have at the moment though i know i can get a job offer easily. If i accept a job offer and use the letter to obtain a 'B' do i actually need to work for that employer or am i free to look around at other jobs after i arrive in Thailand?

You can work for another employer. The 90 day non immigrant stamp is issued at the airport and is not tied to one employer. www.sunbeltasiagroup.com
