But the question is obviously if he should use his number or maybe the number of the director of the school.

School wanted to advertise showing international teacher. 

You broke a contract and walk away from your obligations under a legally binding agreement, you will be leaving yourself open to legal action.

The poster will not be there forever. Best forget about it and get on with your life.
