advancebooking
The wife has a rash. On her day off on Monday she called 2 hospitals both which didnt have a dermatologist working. Last night it was bad again. She had to drive to another city for a 2 day course today and thus no time to go atm. Have you ever seen this type of rash before? RotBenz8888
Itchy, comes and goes? Could be Hives.
CharlieH
to me, the first image looks like a typical mossy bite. The other rash near the armpit, and given its location, could be just a heat rash or a reaction to deoderant ? does she use or has she recently changed brand ? CGW
I would try a cold compress followed by Aloe vera and a anti histamine tablet, if that doesn't work?
emptypockets
Ant or mosquito bite possibly? I react in the same way. How long has she had it? Mine can persist for a week or more.
Sheryl
How widespread is it? The pix seem to show just 2 areas both small.Does it itch? How long has it been there?Any chance she was bitten by something?Sent from my SM-J701F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
NancyL
A good pharmacist might be able to help her. Be able to ask all the right questions to determine if it's insect bites, hives or something else.
4MyEgo
I am no dermatologist, but it appears similar to a reaction that does happen to me every now and again when I eat prawns, I usually get a rash under the armpits and behind the neck. Would therefore suggest if she is not in any pain, it's a food allergy and should be gone by now. My wife also gets some rashes after eating shellfish in papaya salad, once her throat swelled and had trouble breathing, thanks to a roadside restaurant/shack, which has taught me to never eat out unless in a shopping centre or a restaurant owned by a farang as hygiene is imperative. Can you provide us with an update ?
