By air more or less ok. No problem. BUT, if you do it over a long time on a regular basis, there could be problem. It is kind of a grey zone. You are allowed to come to Thailand as much as you want. But I had a friend in Singapore with a Thai girlfriend who came almost every weekend to Bangkok. They stopped him after a few months and questionned over hour. TIT.

A friend has been visiting Thailand regularly for 12 years. He is 77, retired and lives in Vietnam and comes about every three months and stays only 10+ days. He has never been questioned until his last arrival and the IO wanted to know all the in's and out's of a duck's bum. He explained he regularly visits a Thai heart specialist and this seemed to be accepted.

When departing after his stay he went to check with a a senior IO and asked the question about how many times he would be allowed entry. The answer was ....."you are allowed to come when you please so long as you arrive by air".

My advice is for oldies to register at a hospital as an International Patient even if you never use their services. You will be issued a card with your name on it. It is a handy card to play at Immigration should you need to.

They are more interested in the time spent, not the number of visits. But your frequent visits might — at anytime— prompt questioning about what you’re doing in the country.
