JeffersLos
My Non-O visa has expired, and I have 80 something days left on the final Permission of Stay Stamp. I am studying at a language school that supplies documents for extensions based on Education. But their blurb about it says the process is to go out of the country with the docs, get a Non-Ed visa (90 days), then go through the extension process. If needing to do that, I might was well just get another Non-O multi-entry. Is it possible to get a 90/180/360 day extension based on Education while on a Permission of Stay stamp on an expired Non-O( the final 'Enter by' date has been passed? Location is Chiang Mai. ubonjoe
For attending a a language school you will only get 90 day day extensions. I think you would have to go out for non-ed visa. They seem to pretty strict on that at immigration for doing the extensions. Probably best in the long run to get a multiple entry non-o visa since the 90 day extensions can be problematic at some immigration offices and some only give 60 day extensions.
