What is the consequences of using  fake degree to teach in Thailand . 

Do you go to  jail  if you're court using  fake degree in Thailand? 

How long  is the jail terms? 

The consequences are potentially many and varied.

1) It's probable that your work permit (if you have one) will be rescinded

2) It's likely that your visa will be revoked

3) Your employers are likely to contact the police

4) Your emplyers might expect you to repay any money you've (illegally) earned

5) You will more than likely have to go to court

6) It's possible you might have to contribute to BIB's tea fund

7) It's likely you will be fined (heavily)

8) It's unlikely that you will go to prison

9) It's likely you will be deported

 

All-in-all it's a stupid thing to contemplate.

I doubt it would result in jail time unless the employer really had the hump and took some kind of legal action.

 

You would almost certainly lose your job, work permit and permission to stay, meaning you’d have to leave the country.

Dont worry about a degree, worry about your spelling. You would be caught out degree or not...

at least he did not use my most hated "me and my girlfriend are English teachers".  

WAY too much scrutiny right now. Don't even entertain the thought.

If someone in authority was pissed off enough they might push to get you blacklisted i.e. never able to return to Thailand again.

I know of 1 person caught with a fake degree.

Work permit etc no longer valid.

Deported (but not jailed while waiting for the flight, I think was given 7 days to leave)

Banned from re-entering Thailand for 6 months.

I did it for 14 years with 2 employers. Nobody cared. But that was in the good old days.
