Hi All, I am wanting to get a retirement visa, I have the 800k in the bank but it's not been there 2 months. Is it possible to get one now ? I am currently here in a single entry visa from the UK.. and have topped it up already at jontien . Thanks

They might have some leniency, but maybe not now.  You're asking at the wrong time, mate. But you never know, give it a go.

I presume the OP is wishing to apply for an extension of stay, not a "visa" which he says he already has,

Correct . Sorry wasn't sure of the terminology

Single entry tourist visa

Yes you can apply for the non-immigrant visa now. You don’t need to ‘season’ the funds before applying for the visa.

You need to do apply for a change of Visa status, to obtain a Non Imm O stamp as a prelude to applying for an extension based on retirement. You need at least 15 days permission to stay left from your TV entry.

What is your permission to stay date?

You can apply for a 30 day extension if you need more time.
