Could anyone here tell me if train tickets for any destination can be bought at any location? I am located in Pattaya and would like to get Ticket Bangkok to Hat Yai hoping it can be purchased at the train station here in Pattaya. Thank You

Yes, even the small town train stations has computers that can link to SRT ticket reservation system. You will have no problem buying train ticket for BKK to Hat Yai at Pattaya Train Station.

    I used to do it in  the early 2000's. Even then, their ticketing system was computerized.

    Yes you can, well I could. I don't think train stations are like banks and IOs who make up their own rules.
